Consumer Debt Clock

As reported by the Federal Reserve, consumers in America have $13.6 trillion dollars in debt outstanding and counting.

The clock below shows the amount of debt that consumers are accepting to maintain their lifestyle. BeatingDebt.org plans on updating this clock as information becomes available.

As recently reported for the third quarter 2009, consumer debt went down due to the current financial situation. So, the clock is now going backwards!

Let's work together to continue to reverse the progression of this clock.
